Clyde Donovan (formerly known as Clyde Goodman, incorrectly called Clyde Harris (in Lice Capades) and voiced by Trey Parker) is one of the school children on the television series South Park, perhaps most notable as the "second fattest" kid, next to Cartman (though he looks about the same weight as the other boys), and a nasal voice.

Clyde is a brown-haired boy who wears a burgundy jacket with blue mittens and light brown pants. Unlike many of the other children, he does not wear a hat. He is often in conflict with the main characters, especially Cartman. Also, in "Ginger Kids", he was going to do a presentation on Lesbians. On several occasions, when things get surreal in the show, Clyde shows little or no interest. When the boys audition for a new fourth friend, and he is eliminated as a candidate, he eventually decides that it is stupid, and shows no actual interest in being their fourth friend. He is an avid supporter of the school football team, the South Park Cows, and is overjoyed when they are able to keep their name. Clyde's original last name was Goodman, but in episode 811, "Quest for Ratings", his last name was revealed as Donovan. However, in the episode "Lice Capades", he is referred to as Clyde Harris, this was changed to Donovan in later airings of the episode. In "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride", his dog Rex gets raped by Stan's dog Sparky. In the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, he was considered "a complete retard" by Mr. Garrison for thinking that 5 times 2 equaled 12.

He says his dad is a geologist in Terrance & Phillip – Behind the Blow. In "Marjorine", he had an odd outburst against Stan and Kyle, giving a slight indication that he's on Cartman's side. This surprised even Cartman. However, in "The Death of Eric Cartman", he wants to ignore Cartman with the other boys. As revealed in Episode 1009, "Mystery of the Urinal Deuce", he had a colostomy at age 5, however he is seen completely undressed in "Marjorine" without a colostomy waste bag attached to his body.

Clyde has been a background character since the first season and makes at least one prominent appearance almost every season. In recent seasons he has been shown to have a group of friends including Craig, Token Black, and a fourth random member from their class (usually Tweek, Pip, or a miscellaneous background character). Their group is usually referred to collectively as "Craig and those guys" and Craig appears to be their leader. The main South Park characters seem to view them as rivals.
