Chesham United is an English football club based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, currently playing in the Southern League. They are nicknamed "The Generals" because they were once the football team of the General Baptist Church (now called Broadway Baptist Church) in Chesham. Chesham Generals merged with Chesham Town F.C. (established in 1894) to form United. They play their home matches at The Meadow.

Another participant from The Match who has also turned out for the Generals is goalkeeper Alex Lawler, an actor who has appeared in Dream Team and Mike Bassett: England Manager. Blissett has since left the club.
