The Charrua Rugby Clube is a rugby union club, in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

The club was founded in June 2nd, 2001, by a group of friends who wanted to play rugby union in southern Brazil. After that, the club has grown and nowadays counts with senior, youth and women categories.

Charrua Rugby were runner-up in the Gaucho Rugby Circuit in 2006/07.

The following players had participated in the stage: Landmarks of Paola "Cuca" Mateus Ciarine Michael Zwetch "Mica" Leonardo Luigi Leonardo Sgaravatti Pablo de Paola Mauricio Brentano Uary Gondim Juan Days Lucar Maurer "Caju" Edgar Diógenes Axe The Charrua used this match of 2007 to give to experience the new players of the adult category, and for the youthful ones, they had been many players of the Youthful category who had defended the Charrua in the competition and many other beginning ones in the sport, come of the Formative category. The Charrua if did not worry only in mounting the team strongest for each stage of the match, thus it gave the chance so that new values could appear, mesclados with the other most experienced ones, and was this that happened, young players, growing and appearing, guaranteeing a future each more promising time for our club.

They play in the regional Liga Sul.

Liga Sul de Rugby is a tournament annually disputed between teams from the States of Southern Brasil (Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande Do Sul), to see who is the Brazilian South champion.
