  • There is a small community called "Chagrin Falls Park," also known as "The Park," located on the outskirts of the village, which is predominantly African-American. The Park is located within Bainbridge Township in Geauga County. The students who live in The Park attend schools in the Kenston School District because they live in Geauga County and not in Cuyahoga county where the village is located and were drawn out of the Chagrin Falls School district when the current lines were drawn due to the demographics of the area. The Park was originally platted in the early 1900's as vacation homes for Jewish residents from the city of Cleveland. During World War I, it became home to many African-Americans who took jobs in a nearby mill.
