Cecelia Ahern (b. 30 September 1981 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish author. Four of her novels have been published and she has also contributed a number of short stories to various anthologies. She is the daughter of current Irish Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Bertie Ahern.

Ahern has a degree in journalism and media communications from Griffith College Dublin. She has an older sister, Georgina Ahern, who is married to Nicky Byrne of Irish popgroup Westlife.
In 2000, she was part of the Irish pop group Shimma, who finished third in the Irish national final for the Eurovision Song Contest[1].
When she was twenty-one, her first novel PS, I Love You was the number 1 bestseller in Ireland (for 19 weeks), the United Kingdom, U.S., Germany and Holland. She has also contributed to charity books with short stories such as Irish Girls are Back in Town and Ladies' Night. Her second book, Where Rainbows End (U.S. Rosie Dunne) won the German CORINE Award.
She is currently a producer for the ABC comedy Samantha Who? starring Christina Applegate.
