Cathy's most prominent time on the Indie circuit was in the IWF as Cousin Brandy where she was valet of The Tennessee Mountain Boys. Their characters were that of "hick" types and were popular with fans.

In 1999, Cathy was seen in backstage segments of WWF programming as an EMT know as BB, short for Barbara Bush. She officially debuted months later when she helped The Kat after she was choked at the hands of Ivory. Subsequently, Ivory ripped BB's shirt off and embarrassed her. Later, BB was involved in the Four Corners Evening Gown Pool match with Ivory, Jacqueline, and The Kat (the winner) for the WWE Women's Championship at Armageddon 1999.
She was also a lumberjill in the first ever 'Lumberjill Snowbunny Match' between The Kat and Harvey "Hervina" Wippleman. BB was the second woman eliminated in the match. Afterwards, she became involved in more Diva matches and segments, and she was also a part of high-profile Diva photo shoots. BB was last seen in the WWE being stalked by The Dudley Boyz, who eventually powerbombed her through a table.
Cathy turned up as Papaya in WCW with red hair as the on-screen wife and valet of Kwee Wee. She appeared only twice before disappearing. Later, rumors emerged that her supposed husband Hardcore Holly had told her not to continue working there.
In 2002, Cathy appeared in NWA-TNA under her WCW name Taylor Vaughn. She took part in and won the Miss TNA Ligerie Battle Royal. She later was defeated by Bruce in an Evening Gown Match for the Miss TNA crown.

Dingman was rumored to have once been married to current WWE superstar Bob Holly, but no facts have ever been found to back up that story. A similar rumor stated that Dingman was involved in an extramarital affair with Holly, and she was fired to cover the indiscretion from being reported. The affair continued, however, with Holly forcing Dingman to quit rival organization WCW a few weeks after she began working there.[citation needed].
