CKBT-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 91.5 FM in Kitchener, Ontario from the Global TV tower at 475 Ayr Road, near Paris, Ontario. The station broadcasts a Top 40 format as 91.5 The Beat. The station had been airing a rhythmic top 40 format (e.g. rap / hip hop, reggae, R&B) until August 6, 2005, the day they segued to their current format, contemporary hit radio.

The station was launched by CanWest Global in January 2004. Studios are at 235 King Street East, Suite 120, Kitchener.

In September 2006, Corus Entertainment, already owner of CJDV-FM in nearby Cambridge, [1] announced it would buy CKBT and Winnipeg's CJZZ-FM, from CanWest, subject to Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approval. The transaction was approved by the CRTC on July 6, 2007, and as of July 29, 2007, CKBT was officially made part of Corus Entertainment's radio properties. Its urban contemporary lean continued to last until changing hands to Corus.
