Tom Green hosted a late-night program on the station for several years in the mid-1990s before moving to television with Rogers Cable's Ottawa community channel. Quddus, an MTV VJ, was also associated with the station in the late 1990s.

The station's studios were formerly located in a walkway linking the university's Morriset Library with the Thompson student residence. In September, 2005 the station moved to new facilities in the basement of the library building.

Currently, the station manager is Erin Flynn, and the program director is Rolf Klausener.
