"Boxed Up Fury" is the forty-eighth episode in the TV-series Danny Phantom. Tired of being taken less then serious, Box Ghost steals Pandora's Box and creates an unholy tyrant of evil from it in Amity Park, him finally posing a level of threat for Danny who must seek Pandora's help.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The Box Ghost is sick and tired of being taken less then seriously in both the human and ghost world (enough that his bounty from the Ghost Zone Police Department is a mere $2.50). Using every box he owns in his warehouse home, Box Ghost attacks Danny ranging from lunch boxes (which only spew out sandwiches) and shoeboxes (which spew out shoes), all of which fail and only pleases the people.

Frustrated, Box Ghost heads over to the lair of Pandora to steal the ultimate box: Pandora's Box. Bypassing Argus Panoptes, Box Ghost successfully steals the box, much to an angry Pandora who demands it back. He flies off and hides in Skulker's lair who quickly berates Box Ghost for taking a risk on stealing something of Pandora. In response, Box Ghost unleashes a cute, tiny unicorn at him, which only increases in size, giving chase to Skulker, the box feeding him the evil energy.

He returns to Amity Park where he ambushes Danny during a picnic. Unleashing snakes, frogs, Pegasus, and eventually a giant hydra, Danny struggles in his combat with Box Ghost. He eventually orders Tucker and Sam to help his family distract the hydra until he finds Pandora herself to rid of this mess. Sam gives her copy of a book on mythology to him to use as guidance to Pandora's lair before he leaves.

Danny enters the Ghost Zone to find himself rescuing Skulker from three unicorns. He in return helps Danny out by telling him to follow the mystical creatures to find Pandora. Danny does so and finds himself facing various mythological creatures: Medusa, Minotaurs, a centaur, and a Cyclops. He eventually reaches Pandora's lair and together, the two return to Amity Park to stop Box Ghost who have already taken over the place with great force. Danny distracts Box Ghost long enough for Pandora to sneak behind and retrieve the box back. With it, she sucks back all the malevolence, stating her task is to hold all the greatest evil in her box to make both Earth and the Ghost Zone a safer place. She then orders Box Ghost to apologize for the mess and eventually stick him in cleaning duties as he ends up gardening Pandora's gardens, displeased but satisfied his bounty raised up to fifty dollars.
