Blue Water High is an Australian, German co-produced television drama series, broadcast on ABC Television. Each season follows the lives of a young group of students at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where several lucky 16-year-olds are selected for a 12-month-long surfing program. These elite young surfers board together and attend school on Sydney's northern beaches. At the end of their stint at Solar Blue, the students compete against one another for a sponsorship deal to spend 12 months on the junior pro-circuit.

In addition to their surf training, the students must deal with the usual drama that comes with being a teenager, including schoolwork, friendships and relationships.

As of August 2006 the show will air as part of a revamped Toonami UK. It is aired on Saturday and Sunday mornings on Five in the United Kingdom.

The first series consisted of 26 episodes. It starred Adam Saunders, Tahyna Tozzi, Sophie Luck, Kate Bell, Khan Chittenden, Chris Foy and Mara Scherzinger as teenagers who were accepted into an elite surfing academy. At the end of the year, two of them competed for a three year sponsorship contract and will surf the pro-circuit. The students were not well accepted at their new school, Blue Water High (also the name of the programme) and struggled with classes, training and living with each other. The first series was realesed on DVD in 4 volumes. Dean (Edge) and Fiona (Fly) won the competition at the end of the year.

Sophie Luck won the 2005 Australian Film Institute Award for Best Young Actor for her role in the series.
