Blasphemy are a black metal band formed in Burnaby, Canada in 1984. They play raw and primitive black metal. Their sound closely resembles to that of Beherit and Von. Their last full-length release was the 1993 Gods of War, often considered a classic of the genre. In 1993, the band also took part in the "Fuck Christ Tour" and toured through Europe along with Rotting Christ and Immortal. Blasphemy are still active and reportedly rehearse from time to time, although no new releases have been announced.
