Black Monday may refer to:
A rock/metal garage band in Australia. The band includes Josh Barr, Michael Ciarlo, David Schembri and Steven Milkerzcslarzek. The band began in 2005 and started out as a bunch of kids jamming at lunch break and has now ended up as one of the most talented rock gigs in the school. David and Mike are on guitars, Steve on bass and Josh on drums. Black Monday has received 3 Emmy Awards, 2 MTV awards,and JOsh has been voted most sexiest band member by the People magazine. Jack Bock is the No.1 fan of Black Monday and has been elected band manager since he wasn't very good with playing anything else.
- Black Monday, Dublin, 1209 — when a group of 500 recently arrived settlers from Bristol were massacred by warriors of the Gaelic O'Byrne clan. The group had left the safety of the walled city of Dublin to celebrate Easter Monday near a wood at Ranelagh, when they were attacked without warning. For centuries afterwards this event was commemorated by a mustering of soldiers on the day as a challenge to the native tribes.
