The Black Eyed Pea Restaurant is a U.S. restaurant chain. Their advertising slogan is "We've got the recipe." The restaurants are located primarily in the West, Midwest, and Southeast. The menu features home-style Southern U.S. cuisine such as fried catfish, chicken fried steak, pot roast, mashed potatoes, fried okra, broccoli and rice casserole, corn bread, and rolls. The restaurants also have full liquor service. The signature dish is, of course, "black-eyed peas."

In early 1997 DenAmerica purchased the Black-Eyed Pea restaurant chain from Unigate P.L.C., a British food manufacturer and distributor, for $65 million. At that time the Black-Eyed Pea chain consisted of 130 restaurants, about a quarter of which were franchises.
