Bittersweet White Light was the 9th solo album by Cher. It was, like her previous album, Foxy Lady, a commercial flop. Bittersweet White Light was the ninth Cher album released during the 1970s. This album was rereleased on CD in 1999 under the name Bittersweet: The Love Songs Collection along with some other Cher tracks. The extra tracks included were "What'll I Do," "The Long And Winding Road," "Greatest Song I Ever Heard," "David's Song," "It Might As Well Stay Monday," "Don't Try To Close A Rose," "He'll Never Know," and "The Way Of Love".
