Bittersweet Motel

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bittersweet Motel (2000) is a musical documentary exploring what it's really like to be in the band Phish. Directed by Todd Phillips, before he started making feature films like Road Trip and Old School, the documentary covers the band's summer and fall 1997 tours, plus footage from their 1998 spring tour of Europe. The documentary ends at the The Great Went, a giant two-day festival held in upstate Maine which attracted 70,000 people.

The film's title comes from a Phish song of the same name, which is featured at the end of the movie.
