Binky Abdul is a fictional character in the Nickelodeon animated television series The Fairly OddParents. He was introduced in "Cosmo Con," and appeared again in the episode Timmy TV. His surname, "Abdul", wasn't discovered until the one-hour TV special Fairy Idol, in which he was a parody of Paula Abdul. Binky is regularly the target of Jorgen Von Strangle's angry outbursts of violence, and despite his pleasant nature often has horribly bad luck. Apparently, he also had his own TV show called "Leave it to Binky" (parody of Leave it to Beaver (although it was replaced with Timmy TV). He also plays dramatic music out of a boom box for Jorgen van Strangle, but accidentally plays carnival music instead. Jorgen then yells at Binky "BINKY,TRACK SEVEN!"

Binky makes The Black Plague destroy Europe. He defends himself by saying "I thought the Black Plague was a rock band! I didn't know it would wipe out half of Europe!"

After Jorgen Von Strangle declared that fairies would now grant wishes to monkey kids, Binky shouted, "YEAH! Monkeys rule!" from within the crowd, only to be insulted as a "brown-nose" by another fairy.

Cosmo shifts blame by saying that Binky is the one that destroyed the Fairy World with a rocket.

Leave it to Binky is the show that is replaced by Timmy TV.

He made several appearances in this episode, such as in one part, as the pixies were recreating Fairy World so that it is grey and dull, he figured that he was the one to save them all from the Pixie magic because he still had his wand. (As seen in his picture above) Cosmo stole the wand from him and the Pixie magic overcame him. He was also the one fairy who changed his grey suit to a colorful one, right before the, "Unfundamentals," song played, while the other fairies were wearing dull, gray suits. His suit was then turned back to grey after the Pixies stopped him.

Binky is ill in bed, and Jorgen (forcefully) reads the history book Timmy[1] The Barbarian to Binky.

Binky is one of the Judges of the Fairy Idol competition, along with Blonda and Simon. Like the judge that he is a parody of, he is sympathetic and optimistic in contrast to the other two judges (He likes when Tooth Fairy sings "My Shiny Teeth and Me"). Aside from being a Fairy Idol judge, he is also responsible for holding a boombox to play ominous music while Jorgen Von Strangle is clearing Timmy Turner's memory due to loss of fairy godparents. Both times, he accidentally plays track 6 (Pop Goes the Weasel) instead of track 7 (the deep ominous music) before Jorgen angrily corrects him.

Binky makes various cameos in other episodes, such as "Talkin' Trash", "It's a Wishful Life", "Blondas Have More Fun", etc., etc. Also, Anti-Binky appears such one of the thousands of Anti-Fairies sucked by the butterfly net wormhole in When Nerds Collide. The real Binky also appears very briefly in the crossover, when Calamitous walks in and asks Binky if the emergency release button will release the Anti-Faries, to which he (inadvertently) replies "You bet!".
