In early 2005, Keith and Chris, along with their friend Mike Runer created the Internet talk radio show The Brown Lodge. After a yearlong partnership that garnered a devout following in their stints on Radio BBQ and There Is No Radio, The Brown Lodge was forced to dissolve in December of 2005 due to scheduling conflicts. In the months that followed The Brown Lodge’s demise, Keith started a weekly morning music show called Sunday School, while Runer continued in The Brown Lodge’s old timeslot with a new talk show. After a hiatus from Internet radio of a few months, Chris decided to have a second go at talk radio with Keith in the same timeslot that Sunday School was running, and Best In Show was born.

Best In Show Radio made their podcast premiere on February 19, 2006. After a month of getting their talk radio legs back, on March 12, 2006 Keith & Chris made their live Internet radio debut on TPS Radio. As TPS Radio’s success grew, its on-air schedule became increasingly crowded, and the decision was made to split into two separate stations to accommodate all the programming. TPS Radio would retain the Sports Talk format it gained notoriety for, and TPX Radio, its new sister station was created. Best In Show debuted on the newly formed Music, Comedy and Talk station on August 13, 2006, and remains there to date.

In addition to Keith and Chris, Best In Show’s personnel consists of:

  • Vanessa Cheatwood – Senior New Analyst
  • Brian Cunningham – Producer
