IMDb profile

Baby Looney Tunes is an American animated television series that shows Looney Tunes characters as toddlers.

The show premiered on WB stations usually before or after Kids' WB! on September 14, 2002. The show is similar to Muppet Babies, with the main characters taken care of by Granny.

Contents

The main characters are:

Note: Melissa Duck and Petunia Pig appear more regularly than the characters listed 2 paragraphs down (Porky Pig-Marvin the Martian), however they do not appear as often as the characters listed above who appear in the opening theme and in every episode without fail.

The show has also featured toddler versions of Baby Porky, Baby Elmer, Baby Sam, Baby Gossamer, Baby Michigan (in one episode Sylvester hits a golden statue of him), Baby Wile & Road Runner, Baby Foghorn, Baby Pepé, Baby Marvin and Puppy K-9, usually during musical sequences between stories and in some episodes. Baby Speedy never appeared in the show.

In February of 2005, Cartoon Network ordered 26 new episodes of the show for the new season after a three year hiatus. A new character, Floyd (a teenage babysitter), was added as well, and the animation and plotlines seem most appropriate for older kids and teenagers.

Warner Home Video has released 24 of the 52 episodes of Baby Looney Tunes.
