BBC Entertainment is the name of a BBC-branded general entertainment channel operated by the Corporation's commercial arm, BBC Worldwide.
It first launched in Asia, replacing BBC Prime on StarHub (Channel 76) in Singapore, True Visions (Channel 35 Digital, Analogue 58) in Thailand, Skylife (Channel 334) in South Korea and Now TV (Channel 529) in Hong Kong on October 8, 2006. This was followed by Malaysia, where it was launched in on Astro (Channel 26) on December 28, 2006. During 2007, the channel will be launched in India, and replace BBC Prime in Europe, Africa and the Middle East
