Azariah

Azariah, meaning "Yah['s] help[ed]" in Hebrew, is the name of several people in the Hebrew Bible and Jewish history, including:
- Abednego, the new name given to an Azariah who is the companion of Daniel, Hananiah, and Mishael in the Book of Daniel
- The Prayer of Azariah and Song of the Three Holy Children is a section regarding Abednego included in some versions of the bible
- Uzziah of Judah, an Azariah who is the king of Judah in the Books of Kings
- A Levite in the Books of Chronicles (1 Chronicles 5:35)
- A son of Jehu mentioned in 1 Chronicles 2:38
- A prophet mentioned in 2 Chronicles 15:1
- A Levite mentioned in 2 Chronicles 31:13
- The grandfather of Ezra as mentioned in the Book of Ezra (Ezra 7:1)
