This page is about auto makers in Taiwan, not dealers nor importing companies. So, only those vehicles and brands that are assembled or manufactured in Taiwan are recorded in this page.

Yulon Motors separated itself into Yulon Motors and Yulon Nissan Motors in 2004, freeing its manufacturing arm to build for automakers other than Nissan. Yulon and GM joint ventured Yulon GM on 22 November 2005.

Currently, Yulon manufactures Nissan vehicles for Yulon Nissan Motors and Buick vehicles for Yulon GM.

Sells Nissan and Renult vehicles.

Sells Opel, Buick, and Cadillac vehicles.

Manufactures Daimler Chrysler and Mitsubishi vehicles and sells Mitsubishi vehicles in Taiwan. China Motor also export redesigned Mitsubishi vehicles.

Mitsubishi Lancer, Mitsubishi Grunder (Asia-Pacific version of Mitsubishi Galant redesigned by China Motor), Mitsubishi Savrin, Mitsubishi Space Gear, Mitsubishi Zinger (Based upon the platform of Mitsubishi Challenger)

In the year 2006, China Motor (CMC) started to manufacture Chrysler vehicles for Daimler Chrysler Taiwan. Town and Country was the first Chrysler vehicle to be assembled in Taiwan, and there is a rumor that Caliber will be the next.

Manufactures Ford vehicles in Taiwan.

Between the mid 1980's and mid 1990's, due to the global strategy of the Ford Motor Company, western Pacific countries including New Zealand and Australia had a vehicle lineup based on Mazda's 323 and 626 series, which were known as the Ford Laser and Ford Telstar.

Since Ford Motor Corporation bought Mazda in the 1970s, Ford Lio Ho also produces Mazda vehicles in Taiwan.

Manufactured Daewoo vehicles until 2006. The Daewoo Magnus, also known as Chevrolet Epica or Evanda in global markets, was renamed the Formosa 1. The Daewoo Matiz, also known as Chevrolet Matiz or Spark in global markets, was renamed the Formosa 2.

Formosa Automobile started to sell imported Škoda vehicles in 2006.

Current vehicles manufactured in Taiwan: none

Future vehicles to be manufactured in Taiwan: Škoda Fabia in 2007, to be rebadged as a Formosa model.
