Arna is a borough and suburb of Bergen, Norway. Around 12,000 inhabitants live in this rural suburb. As it is situated behind mount Ulriken, Arna is geographically close to downtown Bergen, but it takes some time to drive there by road as there is no road tunnel as of yet. However, a train journey from Arna station to Bergen only takes eight minutes. The stations of Takvam and Trengereid are also within the borough. The borough consists of the parts Haukeland, Unneland, Espeland, Rødland, Haugland, Gaupås, Ytre Arna (Outer Arna) Indre Arna (Inner Arna), Arnatveit, Garnes, Takvam, Songstad and Trengereid.
