Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters Colon the Soundtrack is a soundtrack album for the movie Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters, and will be released on April 10, 2007. It features many previously unreleased songs, some recorded for the purpose of this album. In addition, the compilation features an intro/outro titled "Nude Love" by Aqua Teen character Master Shake, a track from former SPIN.com Artist of the Day mc chris, skits and sound bites from the movie, and a fresh version of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force theme by rap legend Schoolly D.

Worth noting is Carey Means (Frylock)'s absence from the skits, sound bites, and hidden tracks where the other Aqua Teens can be heard. Regardless, Carey Means still portrays Frylock in the film.

On February 28, 2007, a press release was issued to the music press about the film and soundtrack.

The creative minds at Adult Swim responsible for the wildly successful musical collaborations Dangerdoom and Chrome Children now bring you the soundtrack for Adult Swim's first-ever theatrical release – Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theatres. The film and soundtrack are based on the network’s popular series Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
The new release, which will hit stores on April 10 just prior to the film's theatrical debut on April 13, will feature skits and sound bites from the movie as well as cutting edge and original recordings from some of the best-known names in music.
An eclectic mix of heavy metal, indie rock, and hip-hop, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters Colon The Soundtrack features new, original music from Mastodon, Killer Mike and Unearth. The score also includes recordings from old school rap legend Schooly D, who contributed a new version of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Theme for the film, as well as The Hold Steady, Nine Pound Hammer and others.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters Colon the Soundtrack will be released under the Williams Street banner, the Atlanta-based studios where Adult Swim programming is created. It will be distributed in the United States by ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance), one of the leading distributors of independent music.
"Adult Swim is the visual equivalent of hip hop and alternative rock music – it's edgy, it's young, it is definitely alternative. So, it makes sense to expand the brand into the music market with this visionary new soundtrack for our first movie," said John Friend, senior vice president of Cartoon Network Enterprises. "We’ve enjoyed tremendous success with Aqua Teen Hunger Force both on air and on DVD – and we are excited to bring this franchise to our fans - not only on the big screen – but also on CD."
The movie Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters will be released on April 13 in over 800 theaters nationwide through First Look Pictures. Written, produced and directed by Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis, the film represents Adult Swim's first theatrical release and the first foray into animation for First Look Pictures.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters Colon The Soundtrack will have significant on-air support through ads, music videos and other promos on Adult Swim. Support for the soundtrack will also encompass national and local newspapers, an outdoor campaign in the top 15 markets and advertising on leading websites.
The iTunes trailer website has edited the name of the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future to just the Ghost of Christmas Past.
