Anthony John Carelli (born March 6, 1974) is an American professional wrestler signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to a developmental contract. He is currently wrestling in WWE's developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) as Boris Alexiev.

Carelli should be noted to be known as the wrester who was slapped by Jim Cornette after no selling a Boogeyman angle by laughing. This consequently led to Cornette being fired by the WWE. Paul Heyman took over as OVW booker and made Carelli one of his projects and gave him the "Boris Alexiev" gimmick.[citation needed]

Anthony Carelli (also known as Boris Alexiev) currently makes appearances at Ohio Valley Wrestling as a shoot fighter, with a shoot fighter gimmick. Boris is known for using stiff shots and specializes in submission style wrestling. On April 21, 2006, Alexiev defeated Dewey in 10 seconds. Carelli is under a developmental contract to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as of August 11, 2006. Boris Alexiev has only been defeated twice in OVW (by Mike Kruel & Vladimir Kozlov) and has defeated mainstream jobbers like Mikey Batts in his tenure. He is managed by Mr. Strongko since December 13, 2006. On January 24, 2007,Boris Alexiev became the OVW Television Champion after defeating Mike Kruel and Shawn Osbourne on the episode of OVW TV taped on the 24th of January, 2007.

Alexiev lost the TV Title to Shawn Spears at a house show in Cincinnati. At the March 21 OVW TV taping, he formed an alliance with Vladimir Kozlov and his former rival, Mike Kruel.
