Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania

The Annenberg School for Communication is the communications school at the University of Pennsylvania. The school was established in 1958 by University of Pennsylvania alum Walter Annenberg. The current dean of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania is Michael X. Delli Carpini.

Former deans include Gilbert Seldes, George Gerbner and Kathleen Hall Jamieson. Dr. Jamieson was often quoted during the 2004 US Presidential election due to her involvement with FactCheck, a nonprofit organization devoted to monitoring the accuracy of campaign advertising.
