The Algerian Air Force (QJJ) is the aerial arm of the Algerian People's Military. It is one of the most powerful air forces of Africa.

The QJJ has undergone significant draw downs in recent years[citation needed], but still maintains an inventory of 335 aircraft, including 105 jet combat aircraft, 73 transport and patrol aircraft, 31 trainers, and 126 helicopters.
