Air Asturias was a short-lived airline based in Oviedo/Asturias, Spain. It started operations in 2006 and has announced to cease operations on January 26, 2007. Read the announcement given by the airline's CEO, Mr. Jose Antonio Fernandez here.

The airline launched services during 2006 using a leased Airbus A320-214 aircraft.[1] It ceased operations on January 26, 2007.
The main objective of the airline was to provide affordable flights to and from Asturias and to promote the province of Asturias as a quality tourist destination. The airline aspired to offer its clients and customers a fully integrated and top quality service. Air Asturias aimed to expand its fleet of aircraft in order to provide more domestic and international flights including Barcelona, Malaga and Alicante, South Tenerife, Seville, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca, Milan, Frankfurt, Berlin, the Caribbean, Mexico, Venezuela and Panama.[citation needed]
