"A.D.I.D.A.S." was nu-metal band Korn's breakout single from their second album Life Is Peachy and stands for "All Day I Dream About Sex."

It remains one of Korn's most recognizable songs from the album, and of their whole career, probably because of the minor-key seven-stringed guitar riff that the band was making prominent in the genre at the time, and the simple lyrics. A.D.I.D.A.S. is an acronym for 'All Day I Dream About Sex'. AllMusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine called it a 'kinetic funk-metal track' that was 'the best on the album'[1] The song itself, while it did not reach the level of appeal of material on Follow the Leader, was less aggressive than the songs released off the band's self-titled debut, reaping it moderate radio play on rock radio stations at the time of its release leading to the success of Life Is Peachy in America (it peaked at number 3). The song was famously played at Woodstock 1999 to a crowd of 275,000.

A.D.I.D.A.S. is the only official video from Life Is Peachy. It was directed by famous director Joseph Kahn. The plot revolves around a car crash which causes the death of all Korn members at the hands of a pimp and his prostitutes. The police and fire fighters secure the crash-site and the corpses are transported to a grotesque morgue where spooky professors examine them in an odd manner. Jonathan Davis is shown on a table with a sequined Adidas track-suit and lingerie, which is based on a past experience of Davis himself when he worked in a morgue and had a dead pimp come in. When they examined him, he was found to be wearing lingerie. Davis thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen, so he decided to include it in the video[citation needed]Aired on January 6, 1997.

It is no coincidence that the song's title is also a kind of tribute to German sports apparel manufacturer Adidas, which was a favourite of the band in their early years. Also, the genre of music that Korn presented was often called Adidas-rock at the time.[citation needed] Ironically, in 1998, Korn took up a six-figure endorsement deal with rival Puma. [2][3]

In 2004, The song is also supposedly one of Brian "Head" Welch's reasons for leaving the band. One day, he overheard his 5-year-old daughter singing the lyrics "All Day I Dream About Sex" and decided he didn't want her to grow up thinking like that.[4]
