Sy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sy is the stage name of Simon Cranny, a British hardcore techno producer and DJ. He is known for his hardcore tunes but in his beginning he was DJing hip-hop and house music back in 1989. For this, he became a resident of a club called Venus in Nottingham in 1990. Back then the hardcore and rave scene was brand new. Over the years Sy entered production of happy hardcore and played at well known events such as Helter Skelter. As Sy was doing work all over the United Kingdom he gained a reputation as "Scratchmaster."
